How to See Fairy Penguins in Melbourne

    February 8, 2021 / 1 Comment

Seeing as many of Australia’s incredible wildlife is top of the bucket list for visitors to Australia. Whether it’s seeing a kangaroo hopping across a field or a koala sleeping in a eucalyptus tree or any of its wonderfully unique marsupials, birds and reptiles. But did you know that the south coast of Australia is home to penguins? Yes, actual penguins. And even better, the penguins are easy to see while you are staying in Australia’s hippest city, Melbourne. Disclosure: Some of the links in this post are affiliate links. Sydney, Australia in 4 Days – the perfect itinerary

    August 24, 2020 / 0 Comments

I loved Sydney more than I expected. So much so, that I felt a weird homesickness when returning to the UK. It was something about the lifestyle here. Sydney is a mix of buzzing, cosmopolitan city with the laid back beach vibes you would expect from Australia. Four days in Sydney felt rushed and I could have easily spent a few more exploring its various areas and spending more time relaxing at the beach. But it’s enough time to see the highlights. Here’s how to spend 4 days in Sydney. Disclosure: Some of the links in this post are affiliate links, and at no additional cost to you, I earn…

Why you can’t skip visiting Gozo, Malta

    October 30, 2019 / 1 Comment

Gozo, Malta is the country’s second largest island, located a short ferry ride to the north. The little island is also a must-visit for those visiting Malta. After our half day trip in Mdina, we headed back to Valletta, grabbed a late lunch, and hopped on the bus to Cirkewwa. From Cirkewwa, we got on the ferry to Gozo at sunset, arriving at Mgarr just after dark. We spent the next couple of day exploring this lovely little place, finding it had much more to offer than we initially thought. *Disclosure: this post contains some affiliate links, meaning, at no additional cost to you, I will earn a commission if…

My birthday is coming up soon and not too long before I set off on my bigger trips of the year. These include Malta, Singapore, and travelling around Australia. Relaxing in Nha Trang, Vietnam

    January 31, 2019 / 7 Comments

Nha Trang is a beach city located along Vietnam’s south coast. It’s a fairly modern place dotted with resorts but also amazing beaches. Out of the places I visited in Vietnam, I’ve found Nha Trang the hardest to write about. I realised this was not only because we spent the shortest amount of time here, but also because we didn’t do much during that time, spending most of our two days lounging at the beach. This was purely out of choice. After all, there were two reasons it was on our itinerary. Nha Trang is located halfway between Ho Chi Minh City and the central region meaning we didn’t have…
