Singapore Travel Tips For Your First Visit

    January 7, 2020 / 6 Comments

Singapore is a breeze to travel to. This beautiful and diverse city is incredibly safe, modern and full of great things to do. After recently spending 24 hours in Singapore, I definitely fell in love with this city. I even spent a little more on my flight to Australia to be able to spend some time here rather than Dubai (also an incredible city, but I’ve seen it before!). And it was worth it. But I also learned a few things by travelling to a new country, picking up some Singapore travel tips along the way. Here’s my Singapore travel tips for your first visit. Tips for travelling around Singapore…

24 Hours in Singapore – The Perfect Layover

    January 1, 2020 / 12 Comments

Is 24 hours long enough to see everything you want to in Singapore? My recent experience is no. This tiny country packs a punch and I’d recommend spending a couple of days to really soak up its charm. That isn’t to say Singapore isn’t one of the absolute best places to stop over for a night. I was flying to Australia for the first time and it was about to be the longest flight I’d ever taken. And previous readers will know how I feel about long flights. So flying into Brisbane, I had to change planes somewhere. And what a shame it would be to not to step out…

Dos and Don’ts for Visiting Vietnam

    February 27, 2019 / 1 Comment

Vietnam is a fantastic country to visit, but there are some dos and don’ts you should know before travelling there. I certainly feel like I learned some lessons along my travels to Vietnam. In last week’s post, I told you all about the dos and don’ts of visiting Sri Lanka. but this trip wasn’t nearly as hard to plan as Vietnam. Even after a lot of research, there were still many lessons to be learned along the way. Here are a few dos and don’ts I wish I’d known before going to Vietnam and some of the things I was glad I researched before I left. Dos and don’ts travelling…

The Dos and Don’ts of Visiting Sri Lanka

    February 19, 2019 / 14 Comments

Sri Lanka remains one of my favourite countries I’ve visited yet. It’s stunningly beautiful with a mix of top-notch beaches, gorgeous scenery, chances to see a lot of wildlife, and great food. But there’s some dos and don’ts for visiting this captivating country. While I’ve written about reasons to visit Sri Lanka before, as well as offering up some guides for visiting the areas I was fortunate enough to see on my trip, such as Mirissa, Kandy and Nuwara Eliya, and the Cultural Triangle, I realised that there is still a lot to know about visiting this country. If you are thinking about visiting Sri Lanka, there’s a few do’s…

    Relaxing in Nha Trang, Vietnam

    January 31, 2019 / 7 Comments

Nha Trang is a beach city located along Vietnam’s south coast. It’s a fairly modern place dotted with resorts but also amazing beaches. Out of the places I visited in Vietnam, I’ve found Nha Trang the hardest to write about. I realised this was not only because we spent the shortest amount of time here, but also because we didn’t do much during that time, spending most of our two days lounging at the beach. This was purely out of choice. After all, there were two reasons it was on our itinerary. Nha Trang is located halfway between Ho Chi Minh City and the central region meaning we didn’t have…
