Fresh off two long flights from London and from Qatar, the last thing I felt like doing when I arrived at Colombo Airport in Sri Lanka was more travelling. There are so many reasons to visit Sri Lanka. It remains one of my favourite countries I have ever visited. Sri Lanka was the first country outside of Europe (besides my birth country, the US) that I had visited. And it was the perfect starting point.
