Singapore Travel Tips For Your First Visit

    January 7, 2020 / 6 Comments

Singapore is a breeze to travel to. This beautiful and diverse city is incredibly safe, modern and full of great things to do. After recently spending 24 hours in Singapore, I definitely fell in love with this city. I even spent a little more on my flight to Australia to be able to spend some time here rather than Dubai (also an incredible city, but I’ve seen it before!). And it was worth it. But I also learned a few things by travelling to a new country, picking up some Singapore travel tips along the way. Here’s my Singapore travel tips for your first visit. Tips for travelling around Singapore…

The Best Things to do in Ho Chi Minh City

    January 1, 2019 / 12 Comments

Ho Chi Minh City, formerly known as Saigon, was our landing point on our trip to Vietnam, after a 13-hour flight from London. Forming our first impression of this dizzyingly beautiful country, it’s busy, chaotic atmosphere may not be the easiest for a jet-lagged couple to digest. Some people love its buzz, the hectic streets, while it can be overwhelming for others. I must admit that Matt and I fell into the latter category. As a result, we do wish we’d spent the day there before hopping on the night train and…

Vietnam’s Central region is full of incredible views, gorgeous beaches, delicious food, and some fascinating historic sites. With so much to see in Central Vietnam and things to do spread out among Hoi An, Da Nang, and Hue, we spent the longest time in this region on our recent trip. Here’s some sights you should definitely add to your travel bucket list. Things to see in Central Vietnam Hai Van Pass Hai Van Pass has to be one of the most breathtaking views I have ever seen. Surviving a Sleeper Train Journey in Vietnam

    December 11, 2018 / 15 Comments

Do you think you could survive a night on a sleeper train in Vietnam? I took two and learned some lessons along the way. Like many who visit Vietnam, I was determined to make the most of my time and see as much of the country as possible. While Vietnam is a long, thin country with most of the places worth seeing located in a line down the coast, the country is deceptively large. As a result, travel times between places may be longer than anticipated. I didn’t have many days of holiday left this year after starting a new job in May, but I had my heart set on seeing…
